You cant turn the iPod in lock screen now they updated it.

Its been great to listen to YouTube in the background. The app is off and on - right now it is definitely off. It wont play anything! Fix it please! Update: The previous problem was fixed. Update2: DO NOT UPDATE! The name changed to Tubey and doesnt play in background and longer. The description of the app doesnt say it plays in the background either. Bye bye Tubey.

This app was originally designed so that you could play YouTube videos and listen to them even when the app was minimized or the phone locked. They updated the app on Feb 25th and apparently got rid of this feature in the process. Im rating 1 star and deleting this app. It is now useless as it does not do what I originally intended it to when I downloaded it.

The only reason I got this app is because I wanted to listen to music while on another app or while my phone/iPad was Off now it doesnt work neither for lockscreen or while in another app if you could please fix this problem

Ive had this app for a long time for the soul purpose that it was able to play in background, but since the recent update... It can no longer do it... This "Tubey" app is no longer useful to me until this feature is revitalized, Im now deleting this. GOOD LUCK MAKING MONEY DEVELOPERS...

Cant listen to music with the screen locked anymore. Useless garbage ad-filled bloatware.

Dont bother. This app is completely worthless after updating. The whole point in downloading it was to be able to play YouTube videos in the background. Deleting it.

this app was great when it was called backtube. it allowed you to play videos in the background while you do other stuff on your device. unfortunately that is no longer the case and thus this app has lost its value.

As other reviewers have mentioned, utterly useless following update and is now ad-filled bloatware/crapware/junkware. Previously played YouTube videos in background and with screen locked and unilliminated. No longer. Downright disgraceful. Wouldnt surprise me if app was secretly purchased by YouTube to eliminate competition for YouTube Red. Actually deserves a negative star. Yes. Its that bad.

As others have mention, this App is useless, I like to listen to music going to sleep with my Phone locked, update ruined this. Dissapointed!

Now the very reason iGot it is gone. How does an update downgrade the app? Im done with this now.
